The Park and Ride / Commuter Bus Service will be operated by Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) Monday through Friday during peak workday commute hours in the morning and evening. The 291 CONROE P&R will begin at the Conroe Park & Ride lot in the City of Conroe and end at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Administration Medical Center with stops in downtown Houston, Midtown and the Texas Medical Center.  The commuter bus service is jointly funded by the City of Conroe and Houston-Galveston Area Council.
