Small businesses and eligible nonprofit organizations, Veterans organizations, and Tribal businesses described in the Small Business Act, as well as individuals who are self-employed or are independent contractors, are eligible if they also meet program size standards. The Aquatic Center, located at 1205 Candy Cane Lane, includes a zero-depth, seasonal leisure pool featuring a graduated beach entry, an interactive play structure with water blasters, mini slides, a water curtain, and giant tipping bucket spilling 400 gallons of water periodically. The older recreational swimmer can enjoy two 22-foot slides enclosed for a speedy drop into a 4-foot pool of water. Our Oscar Johnson Jr. Community Center Pool, located at 100 Park Place, offers a zero depth graduated entry pool, a mushroom spray, and a water slide. Both pools are available on a limited basis for after hour rentals and reservations during open swim times.The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Park Splash Pad, located at 1001 Dr. Martin Luther King., Place South, has interactive spray features for kids of all ages (March-October). For your safety, we require all swimmers and waders to be in proper swim attire. Please review our list of pool rules prior to your visit. Health and Safety Standards
The City of Conroe and the Aquatic Center staff follow the recommended health and safety standards as established by the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and the NAHC (National Aquatic Health Code) in protecting the safety and sanitation of our patrons. We highly recommend reviewing our pool rules prior to visiting our establishment.
