Payment & Contacting Us

Our knowledgeable and courteous staff is available Monday - Thursday from 7: 30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday form 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to assist you with water and garbage account payments and provide information. The Utility Billing Department is located on the first floor of City Hall in the Conroe Tower, 300 W. Davis Street in Conroe, Texas. The Conroe Tower is in the downtown area northwest of the Montgomery County Courthouse. Parking is available on Thompson Street, Phillips Street or in the parking lot on the north side of Phillips Street. For your convenience, the city accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover for payments and deposits.

Pay your bill online! Starting in April  2011, the Utility Billing Department will no longer be accepting credit card payments in the Utility Billing office. Credit Card payments will be accepted only through our new online payment application hosted by JP Morgan Chase.  Customers will be directed to make credit card payments via the internet. To make a credit card payment over the phone,  please use the toll free number at 855-229-8136. In addition, a computer terminal will be available in the lobby area for customers to make online payments at City Hall. The online payment application will be located on the City website under the "Online Services" link.  Please note that all credit card transactions made online or by phone will be assessed a convenience fee. Sign up to receive your bill by email!

The city has a drop box on Thompson Street for water bill payments. The box is emptied every work-day at 8:00 a.m. After 8:00 a.m., any payment placed in the drop box during business hours or after hours will be processed on the following business day. Please do not put cash in the drop box.

Many of our customers enjoy the convenience of paying by bank draft. With this program, your payment is automatically deducted from your bank account each month. We will send you a copy of your bill each month so that you will know how much will be drafted and when it will occur. The City of Conroe Utility Billing Department has a Disability Discount Program that grants disabled customers to be exempt from late penalties.

 TO BE ELIGIBLE:

• Must be disabled
• Must be a City of Conroe residential water and/or sewer customer
• Must receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) from Social Security Administration
• Must not be enrolled in City of Conroe pre-authorized electronic payment plan

The City of Conroe Utility Billing Department has a Senior Citizen Discount Program that offers residential customers sixty-five (65) years of age and older to be exempt from late penalties.

TO BE ELIGIBLE:

• Must be sixty-five (65) years of age or older
• Must be a City of Conroe residential customer
• Must not be enrolled in City of Conroe pre-authorized electronic payment plan
