Since 1998 the City has been investing in its Geographic Information System (GIS), which has grown from an agency tool into an enterprise solution. In 2011 the City re-organized GIS into the Finance & Administration Department's Information Technology Division to better position into a service oriented agency. The GIS Team manages spatial data projects for the city and is the custodian of the City's Enterprise GIS data and maps.
