Street Lights

Street Light Installation Request - Street light installations may be requested by a Developer for new subdivisions or by a citizen, for existing City of Conroe streets by submitting the Street Light Installation Request Form.form1

For a new subdivision, upon receipt of the completed Street Light Installation Request and the required digital copy of the previously approved street light layout from the Developer, the City will make a request to Entergy to install the street lights. Entergy will contact the Developer with an invoice amount to be paid directly to Entergy.

For an existing subdivision, city street or address, upon receipt of the completed Street Light Installation Request, Community Development will conduct a field investigation to determine if street lights are warranted based on the existing conditions.  The citizen will be contacted with the determination following the review.  If it is determined that street lights are warranted, the City will make a request to Entergy to install the proposed street lights.
