Pre-development

Pre-development Meetings minimize development planning costs and help to ensure compliance through pre-consultation with the development staff. Pre-development meetings are required for both Commercial and Residential developments.

 Commercial
Any commercial developments within the City Limits & Planning Area must be prepared by a Licensed Professional Engineer and submitted to the Engineering Division.  Site plan review takes approximately 10-15 working days.  The following is a list of the various stages of site planning along with links to their applicable forms, checklist, and applications:

Plat Submittal - Contact the Development Coordinator to determine if a plat submittal will be required prior to Commercial Plan submittal.

Commercial Plan Submittal Checklist  - Following a pre-development meeting the Commercial Site Plan may be submitted to the office of the City Engineer for review and acceptance.

 

Residential

Any residential developments within the City Limits & Planning Area must be prepared by a Licensed Professional Engineer and submitted to the Engineering Division.  The following is a listing of the various stages of residential  planning along with links to their applicable forms, checklist, and applications:

Preliminary Plat Submittal - Must be approved or conditionally approved prior to Subdivision Plan submittal.

Subdivision Plan Submittal Checklist - Following Preliminary Plat approval, the Subdivision Plans may be submitted to the Engineering Division for review and acceptance.
