1. How do I request the Fire Department for a public event?

2. How do I obtain a copy of an incident report?
Please fill out the City of Conroe Request for Public Disclosure Form and fax to (936) 522-3079. Or you can come by the administrative office and fill out the request in person. For Accident Reports, you must have two of the following: the date of the accident, the specific address where the accident occurred, or the name of any person involved in the accident. Paper records are .10¢ per page. To Top
3. Is there a Burn Ban in effect?
There is no burning allowed inside the city limits. If you live outside the city limits of Conroe, the Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office can be reached at (936) 538-8288. If there is a possible burn ban in effect, please check first, before you burn. If you do burn during a ban, your fire will be put out and you may be charged a fine. 4. When and where can I burn leaves and/or trash?
REMEMBER, there is NO burning allowed inside the city limits. The county also has restrictions on when and where you can burn. Contact the Montgomery County Fire Marshal at (936) 538-8288. The City of Conroe Fire Marshal can be reached at (936) 522-3094. To Top
5. Are the stations open for tours?
Yes, contact the main number, (936) 522-3080. Since each shift only works every third day, a week's notice would be helpful. Large groups of children will need to be broken into smaller groups with plenty of adult supervision. The fire stations are working stations and at times the trucks have to leave during tours. 6. Does the Fire Department respond to cats in trees?
No, we only respond to life-threatening emergencies. If you have a cat caught in a tree, try putting food down and wait. Be patient, they usually always come down when they get hungry. At times citizens have contacted a rental agency and rented a cherry-picker to retrieve their pet. To Top
