Auto Theft

The Conroe Police Department participates in a joint Auto Theft Task Force with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Grimes County Sheriff's Department, and the Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office. Their duties include the investigation of cases involving the thefts of all types of vehicles, trafficking in stolen parts, "chop shops", and the inspection of salvage yards.
