Page 1 of 8 Patrol Officers are the first elements of intervention in most Law Enforcement activities. They respond to all calls for service and are responsible for original offense reports and field investigations. The Patrol Division is under the command of Lt. Jerry Abbott and Lt. Jeff Christy. Patrol shifts are designed to overlap in order to provide a seamless transition at shift change hours. Shifts One through Three are the more traditional 8-hour shifts, respectively; 0630-1430, 1430-2230 and 2230-0630. There are two Sergeants assigned to each of the first three shifts. Shifts Four and Five are 12-hour shifts, and incorporate several overlapping schedules. There are two Sergeants assigned to cover Shifts Four and Five. As we continue to add Officers additional Sergeants will be assigned as well. Shift One Sergeants are Sgt. Bob Berry and Sgt. Brent Stowe. Shift Two Sergeants are Sgt. Lee Tipton and Sgt. Mark Walls. Shift Three Sergeants are Sgt. Will Davis and Sgt. John Key. Shifts Four and Five are supervised by Sgt. James Graham and Sgt. James Kelemen.
