The City of Conroe would like to notify the citizens of a possible fraud in the community.  In the last several weeks the City of Conroe Public Works Department has received calls from concerned customers regarding persons visiting their residences, announcing that they are from the City of Conroe, and requesting to test their water. The City of Conroe Public Water system has a Superior rating with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).  The TCEQ tests the City water and water quality meets or exceeds all EPA and TCEQ primary drinking water standards.
