Flood Damage Information Requested:

If your home or business is located within the City of Conroe limits and has sustained flood damage as a result of the recent rain, please contact the Office of Emergency Management at (936)522-3600 or via email at Please include your name, address, phone number and a description of your damage.

Storm Debris Removal:

The Public Works Department will pick up storm debris from flooded homes from the approved list given by Community Development. If your home has been flooded you must report it to Community Development at 936-522-3600 in order for it to be authorized for pick up.

The City of Conroe currently offers a residential curbside recycling program administered by Republic Services, Inc. Listed below are highlights of the program.

  • No sorting! All recyclable items, including glass, can be placed into one container.

  • To view the list of acceptable and unacceptable items, please click here.
    • The recycle container is a blue 96 gallon roll-away cart with a lid.

    • No additional cost for this service.

    • Extra recycle carts can be requested at no additional cost.

    • Recyclables and regular garbage will be collected on the same day.

    • Trash and Recycle carts should be placed 5ft from each other.

    • Collection days for regular garbage and recyclables will operate Monday thru Friday. To view your new collection day click here.

    • Missed collections due to holidays will resume on the next day with the collections schedule for the remainder of the week shifted by one day. Designated holidays are New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
