Arson is not limited to the intentional setting of fire to structures and vehicles.  Other examples of arson include setting fire to a dumpster or a fence.  If you see suspicious activity, or have information concerning a fire within the City of Conroe, please let us know.  Fire setting is illegal and perpetrators may be charged with arson, regardless of age.

The Conroe Fire Department has partnered with the Texas Advisory Council on Arson and the Texas State Fire Marshal’s Office to offer a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person(s) responsible for arson activities in Conroe.  If you have information, the Texas Arson Hotline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  The phone number is 1-877-4 FIRE 45 (1-877-434-7345).

The financial rewards are provided by A Texas Advisory Council on Arson (ATAC).  ATAC is comprised of fire and insurance special investigators throughout Texas.
