Fraud Alert: Impersonation of City of Conroe Public Works Employees

The City of Conroe would like to notify the citizens of a possible fraud in the community.  In the last several weeks the City of Conroe Public Works Department has received calls from concerned customers regarding persons visiting their residences, announcing that they are from the City of Conroe, and requesting to test their water. The City of Conroe Public Water system has a Superior rating with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).  The TCEQ tests the City water and water quality meets or exceeds all EPA and TCEQ primary drinking water standards. 2017 Pierce Quantum Pumper.  Has a 750 gallon water tank with the capability to pump up to 1,500 gallons per minute.  Also equipped with a 20 gallon Class A foam tank and a 100 gallon Class B foam tank.  The addition of directly piped Class A and B foam enhances the ability to fight normal combustible and flammable liquid fires.

2005 Enforcer Pierce Haz Mat Truck.  Has a top mount 9,000 watt light tower and an interior work area designed to assist personnel in gathering information about chemicals or products.  Carries specialized equipment used in the identification and containment of Hazardous Materials.

1998 Haulmark Utility Trailer.  Carries specialized support equipment for response to Hazardous Materials incidents.


Booster 7

2012 Ford F-450 Booster Truck.  Has a 300 gallon water tank with the capability to pump up to 250 gallons per minute.  Also equipped with a 10 gallon Class A foam tank.  Used to fight grass and woods fires in areas not accessible to larger apparatus.
