Assistant Fire Chief Mike Legoudes, Jr.

Mike Legoudes, Jr. is the Assistant Fire Chief for the Conroe Fire Department.  Mike began his career with the Conroe Fire Department on July 9, 2001, serving as a Firefighter for six years.  On June 1, 2007, Mike was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and was assigned to the FMO, where he spent three years as a Deputy Fire Marshal.  Mike was promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief and assigned as Fire Marshal on June 3, 2010.  On September 23, 2016, Mike was promoted to the rank of Assistant Fire Chief.

Mike is a 1998 graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, and 2014 graduate of Lone Star College - Cy Fair with an Associate's Degree in Fire Science.  Mike is also certified as an Advanced Texas Peace Officer, Licensed Paramedic, Master Firefighter, Master Arson Investigator, Master Fire Inspector, Fire Service Instructor II, Fire Officer IV, Driver/Operator, and Incident Safety Officer.  He is also a graduate of the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer Program achieving the designation in October of 2015.  Mike is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Sam Houston State University.
