When reporting an emergency, please provide your name, address, phone number and a brief explanation of the emergency.  If sewer is stopped up please contact Public Works PRIOR to calling a plumber, we will let you know if it is a private problem requiring a plumber. 

Don't assume your neighbor will make the call for emergencies.  The Public Works Department would rather receive multiple reports about a suspected problem than no calls at all.
