Geospatial Services is a work group organized within Community Development to meet the geographic information needs of the City of Conroe. The city has been investing in its Geographic Information System (GIS) since 1998, and fostered its growth from an agency tool into an enterprise solution. In recognition of this growth, the Geospatial Serves group acts as the custodian of the City's Enterprise GIS. Along with its primary responsibility of spatial data management, the group works for all agencies to combine geographic and tabular data to generate visual maps to support analysis and reports.
