                   HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS GUIDELINES

Immediate Release

The City of Conroe announces Hurricane Preparedness Guidelines by sending Conroe citizens a special Hurricane Preparedness print piece to help them plan and be ready for any unexpected weather situations.  This information will be mailed and sent out through utility billing starting July 1, 10th and the 21^st.  These Hurricane Preparedness Guidelines can also be viewed on Channel 12, the Public Access TV Channel and also on the city's website a http://www.cityofconroe.org/.

City Administrator Jerry S. McGuire says, " The first priority is to keep our families safe and to follow the advice from public safety professionals."  Fire Chief Ken Kreger notes, "Experience tells us to always be prepared".  The City of Conroe advises the below phone numbers be called in case of an emergency or unexpected weather situation.
