WASTEWATER PLANT OPERATOR
SALARY: (Gr. 65) $ 16.11 - $ 20.14

JOB SUMMARY AND PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
This job position performs duties in the operations, maintenance and repairs necessary at the Wastewater treatmentplant.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must be knowledgeable of operations, maintenance and repair of sewage pumps and control system.

Maintain accurate records and reports to remain in compliance with the discharge permit.

Knowledgeable of City's policies and procedures.

Have good communications skill.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Class "C" Wastewater Certification issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

Minimum three years experience in operation of Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations.

Be able to lift weights of one hundred pounds.
