JOB SUMMARY AND PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

This is skilled and semi-skilled field work. Under supervision, employees in this class perform manual and some skilled and semi-skilled tasks related to the maintenance and upkeep of city parks, park buildings, facilities and equipment, with an emphasis on general maintenance and repairs.  This position reports to Parks Crew Leader or higher administrator.

            QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one-year experience in parks or other related maintenance preferred.
• Must be able to lift weights of one hundred pounds.
• Must be certified in CPR / First Aid within one year of employment.
• Must pass a drug test and a doctor's physical examination.
• Must possess a Valid Texas Class "C" Drivers License.
