Welcome to the Parks and Recreation Department!  The City of Conroe Parks and Recreation Department realizes that quality of life is vital to the citizens of Conroe.  The numerous award winning facilities, programs and services provided by the department contribute directly to the health and well-being of the entire community.  

This winter and spring staff have some great events planned.  Examples include Open House at the Conroe Recreation Center, Daddy Daughter Dance, Conroe's Amazing Race, Camping with the Stars, Morning with Mr. Bunny and Mamapalooza.  For more information on these events, click on the Special Events link or the Play Book link.

When you're out at the parks be sure to see the new Downtown Plaza. Located adjacent to the Owen Theatre in Downtown Conroe, the park has a covered stage, sitting areas, fountain, and landscaping.
