Providing Online Permitting and Inspections - The Building Permits division utilizes BluePrince software, provided by BuildingDepartment.com, to manage building inspections within the City Limits.  Ultimately, this helps to ensure, health, safety, and welfare by verifying compliance with State-wide Building and Plumbing Codes and City ordinances that protect our citizens.  To utilize the link below, you must be a registered contractor with BuildingDepartment.com.

Requesting Inspections By Telephone - The Building Permits & Inspections division allows inspection requests to be setup 24 hours a day by calling: (936) 522-3121.  For next day service, calls must be received by 4 p.m.  Holidays may affect scheduling.

Requesting Permits or Inspections in Person - The Building Permits & Inspections division is located on the first floor of Conroe Tower, at 300 West Davis in downtown Conroe for In-Person requests.  Counter hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Fridays.

No Zoning - The City of Conroe does not have a Zoning Ordinance.  If you need further documentation to this fact, you may contact the Permits office at (936) 522-3110, and request a "Letter of No Zoning."
