Downtown Conroe
Finance and Administration Department Manages all aspects of the City's financial and administrative operations, including General Accounting, Payroll, AP/AR, Budget, Capital Improvement Program, Cash & Debt Management, Conroe Tower Management & Leasing, Utility Billing/Meter Reading & Repair, Municipal Courts, Information Technology/GIS, Purchasing & Warehouse, Internal Audit, and Fleet Services.
Fire Department Responsible for responding to emergencies and incidents, such as: fires, water rescues, aerial rescues, and hazardous material calls. The Fire Marshals' office is responsible for fire prevention education, facility inspections, and plan review for new construction.
The GIS team manages spatial data projects for the City and is the custodian of the City's Enterprise GIS data and maps.

The Public Works Department has the massive responsibility of maintaining the City's physical assets: streets, sidewalks, water system, sewer system, drainage facilities and municipally owned buildings.This department also oversees the City's Community Development, including Permitting, Engineering, Planning, Platting, Code Enforcement and CapitalProjects.Purchasing Utility Billing Responsible for the City water, sewer, garbage, recycling and alarm permits.
